VIP & wellness
Get out of your daily routine, unwind and treat yourself to something nice: During these hectic times, it’s more important than ever to think of yourself once in a while.
Enjoy comfort and well-being in a private and quiet atmosphere at Seeböckenhotel. Treat yourself to a massage or soak in our open-air, heated whirlpools! Or how about a relaxing sauna session?
Our hotel is located directly on the lake and offers guests an exclusive bathing area with its own jetty, a well-kept sunbathing lawn and modern showers.
With such views, it’s natural to think about the environment and nature conservation. And we do exactly that. We were even awarded the Austrian Eco-label for our environmental measures.
As an environmentally friendly tourism business, we use renewable energy throughout our hotel: a heat pump, solar energy, heat recovery for cooling and exhaust air. And whatever waste we cannot avoid from the outset is meticulously separated and recycled. Energy-saving light bulbs are just as important to us as the exclusive use of environmentally friendly products for washing and cleaning. Our cooks ensure our products are organic and preferably from the local region. And we encourage our guests to discover our beautiful surroundings in a way that respects the environment, through walks, hikes and bike excursions. .
HISTORY OF THE HOTEL
A hotel since 1476
Our hotel was mentioned for the first in a document in 1475 one year after the birth of Michelangelo Buonarroti. It was first known as Prant- or Pucherhaus and from 1775 as Seeböckenhaus. Having always been a guest house, originally even with its own brewery, the building was inherited or sold over generations until our great-grandfather Kajetan Köllerer acquired it in 1919. And our family has warmly welcomed guests for four –soon five – generations. We are pleased to be able to welcome you to this wonderful place by the lake for your holiday stay!
